The First Annual Grantee Symposium was held at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey.  Over 75 researchers attended the event that included a welcome reception and opening address by Calvin Bland, RWJF Chief of Staff; a keynote address by Dr. Leo S. Morales, Co-Director, Resource Center for Minority Aging Research at UCLA; an ICPSR "mini-session" on "Methodological Issues in Quantitative Research on Race and Ethnicity" instructed by Phillip Bowman, Director of the National Center for Institutional Diversity at the University of Michigan; and paper presentations from several of our grantees.
