9th Active Living Research Annual Conference March 13, 2012
Join us for the Ninth Active Living Research Annual Conference. This year's meeting is being held March 12-14, 2012 at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in downtown San Diego, CA.
The theme for the 2012 conference is Disparities in Environments and Policies that Support Active Living, which recognizes the importance of engaging experts from multiple disciplines to address the inequities seen in many communities throughout the nation where childhood obesity and inactivity are the highest. ALR-New Connections grantee, Erin Hager of the University of Maryland, will be presenting a paper Tuesday, March 13th titled, Perceptions of the Physical Environment Surrounding Schools and Physical Activity among Low-Income, Urban, African American Adolescent Girls.
